1442 – Jurassic Me

Jurassic Me
Here we se an excellent specimine of Costumesaurus Rex.

I Dreamt I Was A Dinosaur

I dreamt I was a dinosaur
and hunted through the night.
When I let out my hungry roar,
my prey would flee in fright.

I was a mighty carnivore.
I craved and yearned for meat.
My tummy grumbled more and more
for herbivores to eat.

But when I searched the valleys low
or mountains high and wide
my foods would fly or swiftly go
in homes to safely hide.

And then I heard a subtle scratch
inside a scrawny shrub.
I bolted as I tried to catch
this tasty, gamey grub.

My mother gave my bed a shake
to wake with morning’s light.
But when she did, still un-awake,
I tried to take a bite.
