1441 – Causing the Eruption

Causing the Eruption
Even if you’re a dinosaur, taunting a volcano is, in general, a bad idea.

Volcano Joe

He’s the maddest kid we know,
but beware Volcano Joe
Since we never really know
when his top is gonna blow!

He sits quietly at first,
not a clue that he might burst.
But be cautious, ‘cus we know
anger’s magma boils below.

Don’t provoke him if you please.
Never pester. Never tease.
Once he starts, he doesn’t stop.
Here he goes! He’s going to pop!

Swearing, cursing, scorn and rips
flow like lava from his lips,
And the way that he behaves
causes earthquakes as he raves.

Every person in his path
is a target for his wrath.
Better find a place to hide
’till eruptions all subside.

And if somehow, you survive,
thank the stars you’re still alive
and tell everyone you know:
Don’t go near Volcano Joe!
