1584 – An Apple a Day

An Apple a Day
I’m not feeling so hungry hungry anymore.

Why I’m So Fat

I’ve gone a bit soft in the middle.
If food looks delicious, I try it.
I used to be fit as a fiddle.
It’s time that I go on a diet.

The doctor said, “cut out the candy,
And if you feel hunger attacking,
Keep raisins and oranges handy.
Make habits of healthier snacking.
Eat something instead that’s nutritious.
An apple can satisfy plenty.
You might even find it delicious.”

That’s probably why I ate twenty.
