Salad Bar
The super salad bar
Stretched long, and wide and far:
A feast of foods in bulky bins
To satisfy the greedy grins
And dribble down the double chins
Of those who sought the treat
Of all that they could eat…A mighty hungry mob,
And every one, a slob
That stuffed their faces left and right
For half the day, and half the night
But never lost their appetite.
They only wanted more
Of what was there before…But truly, I suppose
That not a one of those
Who gobbled up the calories
Of bacon bits, and ham and cheese
And all the dressing they could squeeze
In spite of all they ate
had SALAD on their plate.
