1693 – Destroyer of Bubbles

Destroyer of Bubbles
Meanwhile, the cat contemplates knitting a muzzle…

The Destroyer of Bubbles

Our dog delights at snapping bites
at bubbles being blown.
He wags and waits, anticipates,
until a fleet has flown.
Then once they fly, for each he’ll try
to snatch them from the air;
and pop before it hits the floor
with cunning canine flare.
Though he enjoys when he destroys
the bubbles being made,
our scardey cat wants none of that…
And runs and hides, afraid.
