1609 – The Grape Dive

The Grape Dive
This may the first time I’ve drawn a fox?

Grapes

I’ll say, “Good bye!” to honeydew,
or cantaloupe, “So long to you”
and watermelons: “Too-da-loo!”
I can’t stop eating grapes.

I’ll throw the pears and peaches out,
and strawberries – I’ll do without.
“Get lost, you pesky prunes,” I’ll shout.
I can’t stop eating grapes.

Instead, all day, I want to munch –
through dinner, breakfast, lunch and brunch –
these little fruits I love a bunch:
I can’t stop eating grapes.
