1447 – The Block Backfire

The Block Backfire
This is what happens when you try to teach someone bigger and stronger than you a lesson…

I’m not gonna pick up my blocks

I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
No, I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
I’ll pick up a nickel. I’ll pick up a dime.
I’ll pick up a puzzle one piece at a time.
I’ll pick up a plate that is covered with grime,
but I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.

I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
No, I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
I’ll pick up a flower wherever it grows.
And sometimes, not often, I’ll pick up my clothes
(if nobody’s watching, I might pick my nose)
but I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.

I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
No, I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
I’ll pick up a gallon of milk from the store.
I’ll pick up the leaves (that’s a chore I abhor)
but all of my blocks have been glued to the floor,
so I’m not gonna pick up my blocks.
