1446 – Dragon Dreaming

Dragon Dreaming
The most unrealistic part of the dream is that those tiny little wings could help him fly.

Too Much Imagination

“Too much imagination,”
I heard her once complain.
“Your fantasy and figments
are filling up your brain.”

“Stop taking flights of fancy,”
she urged me to desist.
“You daydream about dragons
and things that don’t exist.”

“Rely on fact, not fiction,
and those important things
that aren’t the needless nonsense
imagination brings.”

But what she called “important”
I think is worthless fluff,
and her imagination
is hardly used enough.
