1624 – Sun vs. Clouds

Sun vs. Clouds
The never-ending struggle… until sunset.

Sun vs. Clouds

The sun competes with clouds below
by blaring as they boil and blow,
but clouds oppose: they ebb and flow
to never let its luster show.

But often, as they fiercely fight
the sun sends down its brightest light
while clouds cannot contain its might.
It melts their milling mounds of white.

They wage their war with duels and din,
but neither one will ever win.
As gentle night comes rolling in
the two abide in peace again.
