Not in Love

I’m not in love with charming Sue
because she filled my chair with glue.
I’m not in love with dainty Claire
because she pulled me by my hair.
I’m not in love with pretty Rose
because she punched me on my nose.
I’m not in love with Sarah dear
because she shouted in my ear.
I’m not in love with fancy Jo
because she stomped upon my toe.
I’m not in love with lovely Meg
because she kicked me on my leg.
I’m not in love with darling Jane
because she caused me lots of pain.

But I’m in love with sweet Marie
because she’s never noticed me.
