#492 – Penguins on Drums

Penguins on Drums
Shortly after their show, the band broke up and reformed without the armadillo. They were still unsuccessful.

I know an Anteater

I know an anteater that plays the guitar;
she strum-strums her tongue on the strings,
and would you believe it, but I also know
a smart armadillo that sings.

I’ve heard of a rhino with pianist skills
that tip-taps his horn on the keys.
My friend has a llama – or so I am told –
that plays tambourine with her knees.

But teaching a penguin to bang on the drums;
well, that’s an impossible feat:
they don’t have a problem with holding the sticks,
but penguins can’t keep up the beat.
