1365 – Jelly Donut Disaster

Jelly Donut Disaster
And this is why hippos eat meat.

Why Are You Crying, Norma Rae

Why are you crying, Norma Rae?
Why do you shed your tears?
It seems that you’ve been stuck that way
for six or seven years.

You weep and wail at everything.
You moan. You groan. You yowl.
You’re always sorely sniveling.
It hurts to hear you howl.

I’d understand your crying games
if reasons I could see,
but what’s so wrong or what’s to blame’s
a mystery to me.

And so I ask you, Norma Rae,
what makes you squall and bawl?
“I used to know, but now”, you say,
“I sadly can’t recall.”

  1. HA! I walked into my church’s daycare yesterday and just about every child was crying for no apparent reason! I don’t think they could recall either. (:
