#576 – Zipped Up

Zipped Up
What was that? Say again? Huh? Speak up?

Mumble

My father says I mumble.
My mother says that too.
If you ask me, I don’t agree
that it is (mumble) true.

It’s just that I speak softly,
and have for (mumble) years.
My mom and dad should open up
their (mumble mumble) ears.

I clearly (mumble mumble)
and (mumble) day and night.
I (mumble mumble mumble) too,
yet (mumble mumble), right?

I seldom (mumble) mumble…
Well, (mumble) once or twice,
but only (mumble) with the words
that aren’t so (mumble) nice.
