1182 – Winter Swim

Winter Swim
Those are some XXXXXL trunks, right there.

No Swimming in Wintertime

We swim constantly in summer,
almost every single day,
but in winter, what a bummer:
all the pools are closed ’till May.

On the hottest August Fridays,
splishing splashing sure feels nice,
but on winter snow days, no ways:
all the pools are frozen ice.

So come quickly, end of winter.
Hurry, hurry, end of school.
While it flurries, we can’t enter
’cause the water’s much too cool.
