1767 – Waking Up in a Wet Bed

Waking Up in a Wet Bed
Time to get up, sprouts!

A Snowman Never Dies
A snowman never dies, they say,
not even if he melts away.
He leaves behind his eyes and nose,
but life begins with melted snows.
In rivulets of thawing flakes,
the seed that lays below awakes
arising in the springtime air
reminding us of who was there.
