#494 – Vegetable Parade

Vegetable Parade
I think if I was a vegetable in a parade, I’d want to be a potato. Because I’d want all eyes on me.

And while not exactly the illustration to fit the poem, here’s another about veggies a-movin’.

Springing Garden

It would be a vast improvement
if my garden had more movement:

Super self-propelled tomatoes
Wiggly vibrating potatoes
Squirmy boysenberries swirling
Rows of dizzy daisies twirling
Twisting turning cauliflower
Beans that run ten miles an hour
Rows of twisting turnips shaking
Pounding pumpkins causing quaking
Mobile marching avocado
Beets that bounce with bold bravado
Soaring soybeans swiftly sailing
Restless watermelons flailing

Let’s go dance with plants in motion
In my garden of commotion!
