The Camera
Roxanne found a magical camera
like one you could never invent.
When she took a picture of something,
then into the camera it went.It captured her dog, then her father.
The ocean was sucked up inside.
It nabbed every mountain and valley,
and ate the whole world far and wide.Then nothing was left she could photo.
The camera held everything in,
so she put herself in the picture
and, CLICK! She rejoined them within.Be careful if you find a camera.
It’s best if you toss it aside.
It might be the kind that takes pictures.
or might have some magic inside.
