1191 – The Farm Hand

The Farm Hand
The good news is that he works for carrots.

Bunnies in our Garden

We’ve bunnies in our garden:
some greedy, furry guests
that gobble up our vegetables.
Those avaricious pests.

They crunch on all our carrots.
They nibble every beet.
They burglarize our broccoli.
They eat and eat and eat.

But I don’t mind their munching.
I laud their veggie crime,
because the more they choose to chew,
the less at dinnertime.

Hello to my friends at the Creative Montessori school in Homewood, Alabama! I had a great time speaking to you all today and hope to get a chance to come back soon!
