1375 – Tent Troubles

Tent Troubles
And this is what happens every single time I go camping.

The First Time I Went Camping

Well, the first time I went camping
was one weekend last July.
Mom and Dad packed our belongings
and we bid our friends good-bye.

We drove forty million hours
then arrived at last at camp,
but just then it started raining
and (of course) our stuff got damp.

Next, we couldn’t start a fire
and we’d left our tent behind.
We decided to make dinner
but the food we couldn’t find.

I was munched on by mosquitoes,
and I lost my fishing gear.
Then our camping trip was over.
I can’t wait to go next year!
