Tangled Tongues
You taste like flies.

Eat a Fly

I think, perhaps, that I would die
if I we’re made to eat a fly.
I’ve never tasted insect meat
but know the kinds of things they eat.
Not even if you washed them clean…
Not even served as fine cuisine…
Not even if they taste like pie…
I’ll never, never eat a fly.
