I asked my nephew Zed if he would like a doodle. He’s been a follower of the doodles from the start. He said “Of course!” but when I asked him for requests, he came up with something from South Park. To his credit, I think he was just joking. In the next breath he asked for squirrels.
Typically when I draw squirrels, I put them in spacy situations. Today – and inspired by another dad out there who dressed up every day to wave at his kid on the bus – I wanted to have them in a piratey/sailor theme.
