I secretly suspect a lot of things about my dog. I suspect that he only pretends to do his business when he goes outside. I suspect that he understands a lot more than he lets on. I suspect that he sleeps on the couch when I’m not here. What I don’t suspect, ever, is that he sneaks in a quick shower or bath.
