Beard of Bees
A man I knew, Bartholomew,
once wore a beard so buzzy.
His face was full of honeybees
all yellow, brown and fuzzy.
When asked how they were kept in place
upon his face for hours,
old Bart would say, “Beneath the bees
I grow a beard of flowers.”
