Roasting Marshmallows
I am a clever fellow,
can do an awful lot,
but roasting a marshmallow
is not a skill I’ve got.It’s ended in disaster
each time I’ve tried to learn.
I think I’ve got it mastered
but then it starts to burn.And when I think it’s toasting
it starts to smoke and scorch.
I’m not too good at roasting,
but make a dandy torch!
Side note: Andrew requested that I draw more tortoises, in honor of his pet tortoise Boulder. I bet she’d be pleased to be pictured in this one.
