1087 – Procrastination Problem

Procrastination Problem
This was me, every day after eighth grade.

Time Flies

I want to build a time device
and redo yesterday.
Although my afternoon was nice,
I frittered it away.

Time flies when one is having fun;
that’s how the saying goes.
Instead of what I should have done
I watched some videos,

I played a game, I grabbed a snack,
and read a book or two,
but now it’s clear – when looking back –
what I forgot to do.

A winter afternoon of fun,
of frolicking and play:
my homework, though, was never done,
and (oops) it’s due today!
