It seemed fitting that with doodle number 1,000 falling on Veteran’s day, I should choose to honor our nation’s veterans. It’s also a chance to acknowledge Scouting, which has become an important part of my family in the last three years. We spend time learning about our duties in Scouts, and Duty to Country is important to us. As for my family, both of my grandfathers were in active military, as was the boys’ great grandfather Shorty and their uncle Tre. I’m honored to have known all of these men and am grateful for their service.
