1346 – Not the Tooth Fairy

Not the Tooth Fairy
The worst part: ants NEVER leave you a dollar.

Missing Tooth

It’s the truth, my tooth is missing.
On its own, it chose an outing.
Unexpected, it ejected,
now my toothless grin is pouting.

On its own it chose an outing,
leaving me to mope and ponder.
With this gappy yap I wonder,
where’d it ever want to wander?

Unexpected, it ejected
from its permanent position,
breaking rank without a thank you
and began its expedition.

Now my toothless grin is pouting
while I worry more will follow,
and it’s silly, still, but really
that I hope I didn’t swallow.
