Just like me
I wonder how the world would be
if everyone was just like me.
We’d never argue, never fight –
we’d just agree that I am right.
My favorite color would be blue,
and everybody else’s too.
No left hand folks – we’d all use right.
we’d love to read, but who would write?
And when we’d want to dance or sing,
who’d bang the drums or strum the strings?
None tall, none short – we’re all my size
but none have brown or hazel eyes.
No, everyone looks just the same.
And everyone would share my name,
How very dull, don’t you agree?
