#587 – Moon Christmas

Moon Christmas
Merry Christmas, space lady! I wrapped it myself!

Distant Season’s Greetings

No trees or lights or music.
No presents in a box.
I look around and all I see
are miles and miles of rocks.

No tiny team of reindeer.
No “Ho, Ho, Ho” or sleigh.
I’m sure that Santa lives at least
a zillion miles away.

If I can find my rocket,
then I’ll be leaving soon,
but until then I’m wishing
Merry Christmas from the Moon.
