#690 – Mizz MacDonald

Mizz MacDonald
With friends like these, who needs an alarm clock?

Mizz MacDonald

“OINK, OINKY!” shouted pigs and sows,
and “MOO, MOO, MOO!” screamed bulls and cows.
The dogs exploded “BOW WOW WOWs”
on old MacDonald’s farm.

“QUACK, QUACKY!” howled the duck and drake
and roosters made that noise they make
to keep the animals awake
on old MacDonald’s farm.

Those beasts were quite a noisy crowd
And Old MacDonald sure was proud:
There’s never been a farm as loud
as old MacDonald’s farm.

But Mizz MacDonald stayed in bed
with piles of pillows on her head.
“Why can’t we just grow beans,” she said,
“on Old MacDonald’s farm?”
