Rigatoni in my ear.
Tortellini and fusilli
on your legs and feet and rear.Fettuccine on my fingers
Vermicelli up your nose.
On my legs are lumps or orzo.
Manicotti on your toes.We are slimy with spaghetti
but there’s no need to distress:
when we war with plates of pasta,
it’s a sloppy scrumptious mess.
First day of third grade for Andrew! I’m so proud of that boy. Way to go, and bless you in this new year and new school!
As for the doodle, this is the first time I’ve drawn anthropomorphic pasta.
