There must be another fairy
There’s a fairy who will visit –
I believe it is the truth –
and leave loot beneath my pillow
when she finds a fallen tooth.There must be another fairy –
I suppose it is the case –
who disposes all the toenails
that I’ll pile about my place.But this second tidy fairy
only puts them in the trash.
She’ll ameliorate my messes
but won’t ever give me cash.So I’ve put my extra clippings
‘neath my pillow, just in case
I’ve been leaving all my leavings
in an unbefitting place.
