1679 – Just Walkin’ My Plant

I Haven’t

I haven’t bathed a fish today,
or taught a rock to dance.
I haven’t polished porcupines.
I haven’t walked my plants.
I haven’t taught a wriggling worm
to tie its tiny shoe.
Of course, my homework isn’t done…
I’ve so much else to do!
