I’d like to be an elephant
for that would suit me wellaphant
to use my trunk to smellaphant
or wave a fond farewellaphant.Perhaps I’ll be a buffalo
a big brown furry puffalo
with hooves and horns so toughalo
for acting mean and gruffalo.Or else a hippopotamus
that eats an awful lotamus;
four legs all short and squatamus
and one gigantic bottomus.
