1332 – Go Away, Carrots

Go Away, Carrots
If only erasers worked like this…

No Such Thing

There are no such things as carrots.
Carrots simply don’t exist.
There’s no way that I’ll believe it,
though my mom and dad insist.

You may point and say, “I see them!”
They’re invisible to me.
You can argue that you’ve had some,
but I’ll always disagree.

Now, I might have met some monsters
and I’ve seen a ghost or two,
but I don’t believe in carrots,
and I think you shouldn’t too.

There’s just no such thing as carrots.
Why, oh why must I repeat
that I can not see those carrots
you keep telling me to eat.
