Perfect Pet
A bean would be a perfect pet.
Beans never need to see the vet,
A bean does tricks: “play dead” and “sit”
without you even teaching it.
They don’t need baths. They never eat,
don’t bite, or bark, or meow, or tweet.
And if one bean becomes a bore…
just plant it and grow millions more.
Fridays are make-up-for-missed dog days!
Also, I knew I wanted someone to be walking a bean in my doodle, but I didn’t know what I wanted to be taking a bean for a walk, so I asked my friends on Facebook.
