I Haven’t Slept
Go rest your weary sleepy head.
You lazybones; your lazybed.
I’ve lots of things to do instead.
I haven’t slept a wink in seven weeks!So many hours every day
to work or read, have fun and play,
but sleep seems like a waste, I say.
I haven’t slept a wink in seven weeks!At first it was a lot of fun
to have more time to get things done,
but now I sort of miss the sun…
I haven’t slept a wink in seven weeks!And after fifty days or more
this lack of sleep’s become a bore.
Forgive me if I start to snore,
