I have this problem every time that Xander and Toph have a straw with their drink. Invariably, one of them will make bubbles by blowing. I think that if someone wanted to make a mint, they could invent a straw with valves so that liquids could only flow one way. Of course, it would be nearly impossible to clean, but at least you wouldn’t be cleaning the kitchen table after every meal.
