#562 – Disaster Pie

Disaster Pie
Back story: this wasn’t even the first time this happened…today.

I Made a Pie

I baked you a pie with cherries,
apples, peaches, pears and berries.
Just one bite will make you merry,
for its taste is quite robust!

You might shout, “It’s pure perfection!”
once you slice yourself a section.
I’m a master of confection
whose opinion you can trust.

It’s a perfect pie sensation
that deserves your admiration.
I’m so proud of my creation.
Will you eat some? Please, you must!

Smell its perfect, sweet aroma.
I should win a pie diploma.
Half the size of Oklahoma;
it’s so full it’s sure to bust.

It’s the center of attention,
oh, this pie of my invention
and I hardly need to mention
that it doesn’t have a crust.
