My Dog Dines on Doughnuts
My dog Doc will dine on doughnuts.
He can gobble half a ham.
Once he polished off some pancakes
smeared with boysenberry jam.Chicken chowder, he’ll devour.
He makes pickles disappear.
How he loves to slurp spaghetti.
Or chow corn down by the ear.He’ll inhale a pile of bacon.
He will even feast on fish.
He’ll eat everything I give him
but the dog food in his dish.
Thursdays are dog days! This is maybe the proudest I’ve been of a doodle in a long while. It came out almost exactly as I imagined it.
