#426 – Dig and Build

Dig and Build
“Um, hello?!”

Thursdays are dog days!

We have a sandbox in our back yard and Toph and Xander play in it at every opportunity.  Little of the sand stays in the box for long.  I probably go through 100 pounds of sand per season.

Since this one features a dog digging a hole, here’s a poem I wrote a while back about digging:

She’s digging a hole through the world

She’s digging a hole through the world,

and she’s sure that she knows the way:

first she’ll dig down, and then back up,

and she thinks it will take all day.
