#861 – Bring Home the Bone

Bring Home the Bone
Another reason to live in a cave: drawing on the walls is always welcome.

I wish that I lived in a cave

I wish that I lived in a cave
instead of in my home.
I’d never bathe. I’d never shave.
I’d never use a comb.
I’d never have to be polite,
or follow any rule:
a filthy, happy troglodyte
who never goes to school.

Thursdays are dog days!

Special mention to Johnathan Brown for recommending “troglodyte” in today’s poem.
