#939 – Blame the Cat

Blame the Cat
In truth, the kiddo is only guilty of breaking one of the pictures. The cat did the rest.

It must have been the cat

Who ate the flowers in the vase?
Who tore the curtains made of lace?
Who broke the lamp we can’t replace?
It must have been the cat.

Who shredded mother’s purple dress?
Who made the living room a mess?
Who scared the fish, but won’t confess?
It must have been the cat.

Who swiped my shoe and ate the string?
Who burglarized my onion ring?
Who took the blame for everything?
It must have been the cat.
