1514 – Balloon Animals

Baloon Animals
Inspired by Toph (8) who asked, “What would happen if you tried to blow up a balloon, and instead the balloon blew up you?”

Balloon Animals

The expert tried to show to me
his masterful balloonery
by twisting a menagerie.

But all that I myself could make
was something looking like a snake.

He molded, shaped, and sculpted too
his bright balloons into a zoo,
then asked of me what I could do.

I answered with embarrassed squirms,
“I’m only good at making worms.”

He twisted this and that-a-way
a colorful and bold bouquet.
But when I tried, to my dismay:

I couldn’t craft a single bloom,
but made a pretty loud kaboom.
