1587 – A Little Flame

A Little Flame
They were the three blind mice, but everybody’s blind in the dark.

A Little Flame

Remember when a candle was enough?
We didn’t need our all-electric stuff.
A little flame to light the way
To show us what the pages
To shine upon the game we play
We only need a little bit of light.

Go turn off your devices and tv
A candle shows us all we need to see.
Its little flame is light enough
To show us that beyond the fluff
Of all our things, of all our stuff
The people making houses warm and bright.
