Inspired by actual events; yesterday I went to the doctor for an earache and was told that I needed a shot, which was administered in my rear. I’m no doctor, but that seems wrong somehow.
Here’s a poem I wrote about this, entitled Excuse Me, Mister Doctor…:
Excuse me, Mister Doctor…
I know I need a shot,
but is that nine foot needle
the smallest one you’ve got?
