I Do Not Hate Spiders
I do not hate you spiders.
There’s nothing I despise
except your six-too-many legs,
and six-too-many eyes,
and all that vicious venom,
and all the bugs you eat,
and hairy, bulging abdomen,
and webbing you secrete,
and silent style of spying,
and creepy way you crawl.
Except for all that icky stuff,
I don’t hate you at all!
