Stairs to Heaven
Me and Mike and our friend Kevin
gonna build some stairs to Heaven
way on up to where the angels sing and dance.
Then we’ll charge the world admission,
if we get the Lord’s permission.
“Want to climb your way to heaven? Here’s your chance!”People say we’re acting silly,
“Just how high is heaven really?”
“That’s an awful lot of stairs to build and climb…”
Still, we’ll build these stairs to Heaven.
We’ve already finished seven,
but we’ll quit if we’re not done by dinnertime.
