Autumn’s Wonder
Red and orange, brown and amber
turn the hues of autumn trees.
Then the leaves become a litter
as a flitter in the breeze.Watch them trip the light fantastic
As they’re dancing to the ground
Whipped by winds of wild October
while they scatter all around.End of summer, Autumn’s wonder:
Beauty in the mess they make
going unappreciated
by the kids to have to rake.
Your poems are a delight, as are your drawings!
Thank you so much!!
