1689 – Stuck!

Hippos check in, but they don’t check out.

I’d like to be an elephant

I’d like to be an elephant
for that would suit me wellaphant
to use my trunk to smellaphant
or wave a fond farewellaphant.

Perhaps I’ll be a buffalo
a big brown furry puffalo
with hooves and horns so toughalo
for acting mean and gruffalo.

Or else a hippopotamus
that eats an awful lotamus;
four legs all short and squatamus
and one gigantic bottomus.
